The Secure Dad Podcast is launching next week! I’m excited about what this new medium is going to bring for understanding, accessibility and helping families become safer. It feels like a natural progression.
The podcast will consist of solo and interview shows. Some will feature just me talking about an important subject that is relevant to home security, family safety and fatherhood. I will also have the opportunity to interview guests who can contribute to those subjects even more than I can.
I got my start in radio back in the late 90s so I know a lot about audio production. I promise you won’t hear me breathing through my mouth with flies buzzing in the background while my dog coughs up a lung. Well… I can’t guarantee the dog part. At any rate, you can expect to find the same level of professionalism you’ve come to expect from The Secure Dad.
I wouldn't be honest if I said this was easy. I used to have my own radio show and so I thought this podcasting thing would be a breeze. Turns out it's not. I've gotten some great feedback from trusted "beta testers". So I'll be writing and recording right up to the deadline trying to make this the most valuable podcast as I can for parents.
To start off the podcast will be available on:

- Stitcher
I may add others as I go. If you’ve never listened to a podcast before, it’s easy. If you have an iPhone use the Podcasts app to find me. If you have an Android Phone, search The Secure Dad Podcast in the Play Music store.
If either of those options don’t work for you, you can always stream the podcast from my website. I’ll continue to make article-like posts of my show notes that will have a audio player embedded in the post. And if you sign up for my newsletter, I’ll send you links for published shows. My content will be as accessible as ever.
