Beyond Parental Controls with Chris McKenna of Protect Young Eyes

Protecting Our Kids Beyond Parental Controls

Parental controls are great, but they are not a “set it and forget it” solution to protecting our kids online. We as protector parents need to go beyond a one-time setup or a one-time conversation about the bad stuff that kids can find online.

Today I welcome the founder of Protect Young Eyes, Chris McKenna to the show. Chris is a man with never-ending energy when it comes to fighting for the safety and protection of children.

Chris practices his internet safety tips on his four amazing children and is regularly featured on the news, radio, and podcasts for his research. I first saw Chris when he was featured in the Childhood 2.0 movie. In 2019 his US Senate Judiciary Committee testimony was the catalyst for draft legislation and ongoing discussion that could radically change online child protection laws.
